They're designed to document your family exactly as you are in this season. No stiff poses. Just genuine moments, real connection, and the kind of images that bring you right back to how life felt.
These sessions are about preserving the magic that's already happening because one day, you'll miss the little things. Let's make sure you don't forget them.

Summer Sessions are designed to capture the feeling of summer, not just what it looked like. They're playful, and focused on documenting the moments that make this season special for your family.
Instead of meeting at a traditional photo location and spending the entire session posing, we'll create images around the things you already love doing together. Eating popscicles, riding bikes, sidewalk chalking, how you spend your summer evening.
These sessions are less about perfection and more about connection. Your kids don't need to sit still, your house doesn't need to be spotless, and you don't need to know how to pose. My job is to guide you when needed while capturing genuine moments that unfold naturally.
Summer has a way of passing by before we realize it. One day the bikes will be too small, the sprinkler won't seem as exciting, and the little hands reaching for yours won't be quite so little.
What is a summer session?
Summer Sessions are about preserving those ordinary moments before they become memories.
The best light for photos happens during the last hour before sunset. Depending on the direction your home and yard face, we'll choose a start time that gives us the most beautiful, soft, golden light possible.
I know this timing can sometimes fall close to, or even a little past, your little one's normal bedtime. Trust me when I say it's worth it.
A child playing at home in their own backyard is very different from an overtired child being asked to sit still, smile at the camera, and pose perfectly.
Your children get to stay in their element, and that freedom creates the dreamy summer images you see throughout my portfolio.
The goal isn't perfect behavior. The goal is preserving this season of life exactly as it feels. The beautiful evening light simply helps us tell that story.

What makes your home special isn’t the furniture or the paint color. It’s the life happening inside (or outside) it. It’s the place where your kids learned to walk, where bedtime stories are read, where softball practice happens in the backyard, and where countless ordinary moments become cherished memories. Years from now, your children won’t notice whether everything looked perfect. They’ll notice the home where they grew up. That’s why I love at-home sessions so much.
